Study On Vessel Energy Saving Technologies

In order to cope with the requirements from the shipping industry, the designers have to merge the energy saving concept and energy saving technologies into the new ship design work. This thesis mainly studied the energy saving devices and technologies that will reduce the fuel oil consumption and can be used at new ship design phase to improve the vessel’s energy efficiency.And the study mainly includs the following contents:1. The energy saving devices installed infront of the propeller2. The energy saving devices installed behind the propeller3. Study on the energy saving technologies of main engine4. Study on the energy saving technologies of electric power supply system5. Study on the energy saving technologies of steam consumption systemThrough the introduction of this study, hope to share some valuable experiences with other ship designers. And give my efforts to develop the green ship design level.
