Lightweight vehicle isone of the most effective measures to achieve energy-saving emissionreduction,and Stamping process of tailor-welded blanks become one of theimportant measures to lighten the weight of car because of having moreadvantages than other forming techniques which is widely used. Duing todifference of material properties and thickness, tailor welded blanks are easy toproduce rupture, wrinkling, springback and weld movement defects.With thedevelopment of automobile manufacturing accuracy continues to improve, thereis a very important significance for the formability of TWBs in-depth study.The paper studies on the forming and springback of TWBs U-shaped part,and finds the method to improve the forming performance of TWBs U-shapedpart with analysing the influence of various parameters on the forming andspringback. combinated numerical simulation and test, it finds out the influenceof compensation factor for forming precision, found the first iteration of thecompensation factor directly compensated on the die surface, optimized selectioneffectively reduces the waste of time and expense. Piecewising compensativealgorithm, and compensated the U-shaped parts, so as to effectively improve theaccuracy of parts.This paper carries on the numerical simulation of Tailor Welded Blank CarB Pillar with application of DYNAFORM software. Effective drawbead settingand modifying the process parameters Improve the accuracy of Tailor WeldedBlank Car B Pillar.It puts forward the springback measurement of complexpart,which is more Intuitive.At the same time to compensate for the mold surface using reasonable compensation factor, and compensated the local, thus touched-up to each region of complex stamping parts, and improves the accuracy ofcompensation. Finally, simulation results are compared with the practicalprocessing results, verified the feasibility and correctness of the finite elementsimulation, and simulation technology of finite element can be a good guide tothe actual production and processing parts.
