In recent years, new hardware andtechnology such as Augmented Reality(AR), Holographic projection, Microsoft Kinect virtualinteraction have emerged in great number. such as bamboo shoots after a spring rain likeemerge. They all have great potential in the application of future landscape design. Atpresent, these hardware and technologies have been applied in the study of intelligent buildingand intelligent residential and virtual landscape, which have obtained serious attention all overthe world.Augmented reality is a technology that enables various virtual sensory information morereal when viewed by people, providing a chance for people to closely contact with technology. It is closer to science of our life. Accompanied by full development of sound, light,electricity and interactive technology and processing technology breakthroughs such asreal-time3D scanning and three-dimensional printing, an increasing number of devices withthe purpose of developing the augmented reality have been thriving. With the unceasingdevelopment of science and technology, it will evolve to another level---Mixed Reality.Especially with the introduction of Holographic projection in the Mixed Reality, it may bemoving in the direction of better prospect. Taking Virtual Reality out of virtual space andpresent it in the real world, which forms Holographic Mixed Reality.In future landscape design, technology development is a dream no more. Under the dualpressure of rapid growth of population and the global environment crisis, Holographic MixedReality can expand our living space by displaying the virtual space in real world throughoptics, thus improving quality of life. At the same time, favorable results can be obtainedthat less consumption and waste occur during the construction of future living space and citydevelopment. We can enjoy interacting with nature like the ancient people without going outdoors.Regardless of holidays or weekends, we don’t have to expect friends and family to go homefor the holidays and weekends and our parents staying at home with no one to care about.No matter how far apart, families and friends can dine and chat together according to theirown schedule. This is called home, where time and space cannot form distance, this is thefuture.
