| Compared with traditional industrial buildings, modern industrial buildings changed a lot. In the design of modern industrial buildings, the sinple plane method is widely used. However, there exists many defects in sinple plane design method, which lead to safety and economical efficiency problems. Therefore, it is necessary to make comprehensive and detailed analyses of these defects to improve the design of industrial buildings.This paper explored three problems in the simple design method of single-storey steel structure industrial buildings. Firstly, this paper put forward proper design methods of laced columns with access hole or bending moments in single chords. Secondly, it discussed on how to take consider of longitudinal wind load on the end plane frame. Finally, it concluded calculation methods of rigidity value of elastic supports which are eguivalent to trimmer beams or brackets in simple plane design method. |
