Telemedicine is the product of the combination of modern computer technology,network technology and medical technology. An open telemedicine system should includeRemote Diagnostics, Consultation of Specialists, Information Services, Online Examinationand Remote Studying, and several other major parts. Remote rehabilitation as one of thefield of telemedicine, for the rehabilitation of patients with neuromuscular dysfunction playsan important role in, Patients can carry electrical stimulation treatment and surfaceelectromyography assessment and training through the client device, and can also createonline real-time audio and video clinics with specialists via the Internet,and so on. Comparedwith remote rehabilitation technology abroad, China started late, it can be said is still in itsinfancy, but the remote rehabilitation system abroad are expensive than the average familycan afford, so the development of the domestic remote rehabilitation system is imperative.Remote diagnosis and treatment system involved in this thesis is a telemedical systemwhich focused on rehabilitation’s diagnosis and treatment and physiological monitoring, andthis system achieve the purpose of telemedicine by B/S(Browser/Server mode) andC/S(Client/Server mode) frameworks. The main task of this paper is to complete the design oftelerehabilitation diagnosis and treatment system based on bluetooth wireless transmissiontechnology, including the design of the main control software run on PC and the hardware andsoftware design of portable terminal, the fully functions include three parts and they areneuromuscular functional electrical stimulation module, feedback stimulation module, surfaceelectromyographical assessment and training system module.Selecting Silicon Labs company’s C8051F060microcontroller as the main controller, toaccomplish a variety of data and command information process, and select Bluetoothcommunication technology as a connect bridge between the upper and lower machine, andaccomplish data’s upload and download, its more convenient compared with other systemcommunicate by USB technology.Collected Surface EMG data can be displayed on the screenin RMS wave mode. This design is mainly faced on the community hospitals and families,patients can receive real-time diagnosis and treatment provided by experts at home orcommunity hospital. Doctors can also accept the patient’s treatment anywhere and anytime.The remote rehabilitation system for the parties have brought great economic benefits, as wellas its research and reference value.
