In the hydraulic equipment of aircraft O-ring is widely used, and the flight environment is harsh, demanding the higher performance of O-ring sealing. Analysis the actual working conditions of the O-ring in the plane, developed the O-ring performance test systems that simulate the actual working environment of the O-ring. The system was using to test on two working state of the O-ring, that is the test of lateral load in the low temperature and the test of durability.Through systematic analysis of the aviation rubber O-ring performance test system, the system is divided into several units by functional, in accordance with the user’s requirements of the device size and the automation of the equipment, using the modern technology in the original equipment, we solve those problems respectively. Using the hydraulic, PLC and configuration control of the latest technology to improve the design flaws of the original test system. The entire test system includes two modules which is hydraulic unit, mechanical drive unitThe improvements of the O-ring test system are divided into the following two parts:①The cut-off valve in the hydraulic unit was upgraded to a new electronically controlled hydraulic valve, by the organic combination of the various functional modules, making the degree of the automation of the system that saving a lot of human labor, but also improved the control accuracy of the test system.②Mechanical transmission unit consists of the experimental fixture and the transmission mechanism composed of two parts, the size parameters of the experimental fixture is determined by the parameters of the O-ring; drive mechanism to provide the necessary impetus for the trial. To improve due to the change of the O-ring parameters and the original drive mechanism to test the accuracy of the mechanical drive unit.After the improvements the hardware and software of the test device making the automation of the test process has been greatly improved, while the test accuracy of the test device has also been improved...
