The formwork support system is an important part of the site concrete, and the quality of concrete structures is affected directly by the fabrication and installation of template support system. The widely used several techniques of the template support exist issues such as high cost, long working hours, supplies large, complex operation, low cycle times and quality.In this paper, aiming at the problems such as the stability, templates and support for the new keel connection, the improved scheme is put forward to support system. The mechanical properties of the modified normalized steel support system are calculated in theory, Improvements made support system was simulated200mm thick concrete in the static limit state and the ultimate limit state load test, Determination and analysis of the relationship force deflection and σ-ε verify that the mechanical properties of the support system to improve compliance with regulatory requirements. In contrast to the practical application of research to improve the mechanical properties of the steel support system and normalized steel fasteners support system. Test data comparison shows that in the same situation improved keel support components small deformation, high strength; Test process reflects the improvement of normalized steel support system of environmental protection and energy saving, save work time, the advantages of simple easy to operate. This paper puts forward some opinions on the development of formwork support system.Conclusions of this study can be used to promote the application of the normalized steel support system.
