For Some disadvantages present in the traditional electromagnetic valve, a new type opening fine-tuning system of pressure adjusting holes for air operated throttle valve is proposed by using the piezoelectric ceramic in throttles. This system has a fast response speed, high precise, low power consumption, small size, and it is easy to control.The selection of the spool-type valve structure can meke the valve opening large. So It is easy to obtain a small steady flow. And it is achieved that the flow can be fine tuned in a wide range.Through the use of’inchworm principle’ to make up the shortage that the displacement of piezoelectric ceramic is small, an inchworm piezo linear motor is designed.In order to make the structure of system compact, a flexible hinge displacement transmission mechanism is used. It ensures sufficient displacement to the spool, but also reduces the length of the system.
