In recent years, accidents are paid more and more attention. The vast majorityof accidents are caused by the overspeed, so the speed of reconstruction collisionaccident is very important. However, with the involvement of a large number ofautomotive electronics, for example ABS and ESP, it is difficult to leave clear traceswhen the vehicle braked. Using a conventional formula is difficult to accuratelycalculate the speed of the vehicle collision. And according to a conventionalcalculation speed of the pedestrian to throw distance calculation method is onlyapplicable in the case of a low vehicle speed. so the study of collision is very difficultwhen the ABS and EPS join and the vehicle speed is high.This article firstly introduces the concept of In-depth Accident Study, anddescribes the main process of In-depth Accident Study, survey methods, datacollection and evaluation criteria of human injury. Then it introduces pedestrianaccident reconstruction theoretical basic. And it briefly introduces the PC-Crashsoftware and basic theory of Multi-rigid body, and verifies the feasibility ofpedestrian and vehicle collision simulation.Then the paper builds people and vehicle collision model by PC-Crash, settingthe basic parameters, making front, rear, side of pedestrians collision respectivelywith the central part and one third of the vehicle front and getting the results of thesix pedestrian collision case relationship between thrown distance and speed. Thenthe six groups data of pedestrian and speed are fitting by using the fitting toolbox ofMATLAB, the paper makes a comparison after got six formulas,.Finally, the paper analyzes a real pedestrian and car collision accident case,analysis of curve on the pedestrian’ side and the one third part of vehicle collision is given and makes a comparison between the energy conservation equationscalculation speed and the result is consistent, verified the correctness of the curvefitting formula.Significance of this paper study lies in using matlab to analyze the data to get anew formula for calculating speed, combined with real accident cases to verify thefeasibility of the formula, in the basis of In-depth Accident Study and the use ofPC-Crash software simulation data.
