In recent years,with the continuous development of road traffic,an increasing trend about traffic accidents of heavy truck and two wheel collision accident have been showed in recent years,second only to vehicle and pedestrian collision accidents.Heavy vehicles have more important position in the freight transportation industry,engineering and construction industry than in passenger cars;However,heavy truck body structure determines its blind area,the vision will be weakened with the increase of speed,and the heavy truck cab driving position than the general high,and the body is higher,and the driver in the car on the left,the rearview mirror installed even in heavy truck body,but the driver In the driving process especially in the right turn,the driver does not have a full range of observed angles,resulting in a lot of restrictions,easy to cause traffic accidents,especially easy to body and undersized two wheel vehicle collision.The accidents of two wheel vehicles pedestrians generally cause fatal damage,causing a serious security risk to the life and property of the rider.This paper makes a statistical analysis of 30 heavy truck cornering and two wheel collision accidents collected in the past years from 2012 to 2016 by the State Quality Inspection Administration defect management center(NAIS)and Sichuan XiHua judicial institute.In view of the heavy truck cornering and two wheel collision accident,this paper expounds the main causes of the accident from the statistical point of view and the actual situation,and studies the strategies to avoid the accident.Preventing collision model are put forward at this stage of the domestic and foreign various universities and institutions of formulation,then according to the characteristics of domestic heavy trucks and Chinese special traffic environment by using PC-CRASH simulation software on 30 real accident reconstruction and analysis of head injury of the rider.In this paper,the orthogonal experiment is designed,which contains 10 factors,each parameter takes 3 levels,and the orthogonal test table selects L27(313).According to the driver’s reaction time,the main vehicle deceleration,the main vehicle speed,sitting height,the first collision point and ground friction coefficient on the influence factors of the first two wheel vehicle collision point and final position distance,finally get the main parameters of risk assessment indicators: using SPSS statistical software for statistical analysis of simulation the data obtained T=F(M,V,D)linear regression mathematical model used as markers for early warning system.Finally,the feasibility of the risk assessment index is verified by the case of a real heavy truck turning right and hitting the two wheeled vehicle.The conclusions of this research can provide reference for the relevant agencies to study the active safety of heavy duty trucks.
