This article researches union and changes of space between the level ofurbanization and the Jialu River green infrastructure, which uses the QuickBirdImages from2009to2012, combining the related information, the field trips of thestudy area and the related analysis of Arc GIS. Correct the selected QuickBird Image,then classify the ecological elements of the green infrastructure, visually interpret theimages according to the different imaging characteristics and the results of the fieldtrips. We have the following conclusions:1. It is guided by landscape ecology and other multi-disciplinary, landscape analysissoftware FRAGSTATS and GIS technology has been used to calculate themulti-layered landscape pattern index of the area. Analysis on the status of thespatial pattern of the green infrastructure has been made: Arable land andconstruction land as the advantage landscape type of the area, control thetransmission and flowing of material and energy; Secondly, the area of grass andriver is small.2. Then we draw the river’s longitudinal urbanization curve in the year of2012,which depends on the percentage of the construction land in the landscape areaand the demographic, economic and other relevant factors. It showed that the levelof urbanization of the center of Zhengzhou city and Zhongmu which the riverflowed is much higher. In another hand, the level of urbanization of Jian’gangreservoir and boundaries of the city is lower.3. The variation along the spatial pattern of the green infrastructure in the study areain2012is obvious and the degree of fragmentation, shape of patches, thedistribution degrees presents the correlation with the level of urbanization. From2009to2012, the green infrastructure varying degrees of the changes in the shapeof patches, diversity and the degree of fragmentation in the study area.With theincrease of the level of urbanization, the area of construction land is improvingwhile other types of landscape area were down. The shape of the patch of rivertends to rule. The fractal dimension,patch shape index distribute and coordinateindex of other patch shapes are increasing. The degree of landscape fragmentationis increasing. The spatial distribution of the types of landscape elements is notbalanced. Although the plaque is more dispersed, the spatial connectivity between the plaques are increased, which promoted the exchange of species and thetransfer of energy. The main reason for the changing of index in time and space isthe improving of urbanization level and the influence of Human factors.
