With HSRC joint excellent mechanical properties and good seismic performance,studyingthe reliability on shear capacity of HSRC joint is particularly necessary.In this thesis, thestructure reliability’s background and corresponding application in project are introduced.Majorforeign standard institution,criterion and codes are also introduced in this paper and do thecontrast analysis.Meanwhile,the paper elaborates the influences of HSRC beam-columnjoint,including axial compress ratio,internal steel,high strength concrete and stirrup and thecontribution of every influence to the shear capacity.Then,the paper introduces the theory andcalculation method of the structure reliability index.JC method and Monte Carlo Method aremainly expatiated in this paper.Based on the existing experimental data of the papers, the first step is to look up the loadstatistical parameters and calculate the resistance statistical parameters reliability index.Thenusing the numerical simulation methods calculate the reliability index based on probabilitytheory.Using MATLAB programs and calculates the reliability index.Also,this paper studiessome basic random variables produce the effects to the reliability index of the HSRCbeam-column joint and find the distribution range of the reliability index. Through thecomparative analysis,the conclusion is that the reliability index which uses Monte CarloMethod is close to that which uses the JC method When the failure probability is relatively low.Based on the existing experimental data of the papers,this paper compares the reliabilityof technical specification for steel reinforced concrete composite structures and technicalspecification of steel-reinforced concrete structures on shear capacity and analyzes the impactof changing load ratio,steel,concrete strength, axial compress ratio, stirrup reinforcement ratioand combination of load. Through the suggested formula and shear capacity formula given inthe technical specification for steel reinforced concrete composite structures and technicalspecification of steel-reinforced concrete structures,this paper calculates the correspondingreliability index.The results are higher than brittle failure standard of when the security level issecond and show that the suggested formula provides a certain reference value for practicalengineering.
