In the process of building the subway in the urban area, the Foundation pit engineering iscrucial since it tends to be close to buildings and main roads while it must be finished as soon aspossible under complex execution conditions and in tiny construction sites. A large number ofengineering practice shows that pit deformation must be controlled effectively in the process ofexcavation. Otherwise, it will affect the structural safety and normal use of the adjacent buildings,While it may also destroy the main roads and underground pipelines around it. Therefore, it isparticularly important to control the deformation of the pit and reduce the movement of thesurrounding soil under the precondition of ensuring a secure and stable foundation pitengineering.In this paper, Wangjiadun East Subway Station of Wuhan subway is analyzed by using theANSYS simulation method. To be exact, the excavation of foundation pit will be simulatedstep-by-step according to the sequence of excavation. First, the deformation of three aspects,including the horizontal displacement of diaphragm wall,the sedimentation of the soil massoutside the pit and the bottom heave of soil respectively,will be researched. Then,the resultsconcluded in this step will be compared with actual data got from the deformation of foundationpit on-site. As a result,the deformation rule of excavating the foundation pit step-by-step will bedrawn; Besides,it is found that the selected layout of reinforcement brings positive effects to thecontrol of foundation pit deformation by simulating the bottom strip reinforcement of thefoundation pit of the standard segment of Wangjiadun East Station and comparing the result withthe deformation of unreinforced foundation pit. The findings could provide some references tothe following control of the deformation of deep foundation pits in the subway stations ofWuhan.
