The converter transformer is one of the most critical large equipment for theHVDC systems and power rectifier industry, whose performance and structure arequite different from the ordinary power transformers.During the operation, there isa large number of harmonics carrying with the load current, which resulting in thegrid pollution and bringing damage to the transformer itself, such as intensifyingvibration and increasing noise. Currently, the majority of research on the analysis ofthe electrodynamic force of the windings are carried out under the short-circuit stateof the doubled-winding transformer. However, few people conduct relevant researchby combining the filtering effect with the electrodynamic force when thetransformers are under the stable operation condition. On this situation, the essaycompares the filtering effect in the stable condition of the traditional rectifiertransformer and analyzes the result. The conclusion is as follows: the filtering effectof the rectifier transformer based on the inductive filtering technology is better. Inaddition, the essay analyzes the electrodynamic force of the compensating windingof both the devices in the condition above, and it shows that the electrodynamicforce beared by the compensation windings of the inductive filter rectifiertransformer is weaker than the traditional type. The main content of the research issummarized as following:First, this paper summarizes the current situation and development tendency ofthe inductive filtering technology, and put forward the inductive filtering convertertransformer as the research object; determines the research direction through theanalysis of the transformer leakage magnetic field and electrodynamic force of thecompensation windings.Second, introduce the characteristics, drawbacks and the filter systems of thethree traditional types of converter transformer respectively. Meanwhile, through thecircuit theory and mathematical calculations, the paper has a detailed description ofthe structure and working principle for the induction converter transformer and itsfilter system. In addition, through Matlab/Simulink, the article compares thefiltering effect between the inductive filtering transformer and traditional one.In order to calculate the electrodynamic force, we need to analyze thetransformer leakage magnetic field, thus, the article describes the theoretical knowledge of the transformer leakage magnetic field, and calculates the transformerwinding leakage magnetic field by field-circuit coupled model through the AnsoftMaxwell3D model.Finally, based on the theoretical knowledge on the electrodynamic force of thetwo-winding transformer, the essay analyzes the characteristics of theelectrodynamic force for each winding of the three-winding transformer. Thenthrough Ansoft Maxwell3D simulation, verifies that the electric force of thecompensation winding for the inductive filtering converter transformer is less thanthe traditional type.
