In order to satisfy the needs of strong smart grid in China and based on theelectric parameters monitoring, backward reactive power control, backwardcommunication technique, incapable remote monitoring and control of Chinese ruralgrid power supply transformer district, the paper comes up with a whole designscheme of new reactive power compensation smart remote monitoring equipment tothe rural power grid terminal transformer district, which is based on the secondarydistribution network smart control and monitoring terminal equipment of GPRS。This paper first elaborates the source of this topic as well as the developmentstatus of the domestic and international reactive power compensation technique,analyzes the function of reactive power compensation for the rural grids and makesa brief description of the several reactive power compensation criteria. Then itillustrates the GPRS communication techniques briefly。In terms of the hardware design, it uses C8051F020device of GYGNAL asmain control, which is fully integrated mixed-signal system MCUs. The control isof pipeline organization and high speed and its instruction speed can be25MIPS,guaranteeing the high operating speed of the product. Additionally, it usesATT7022C, the high-accuracy chip used in the electric energy measure of ActionsSemiconductor Co., Ltd as the three-phase electric energy parameters, ensuring theaccuracy of relevant electric energy parameter. Its communication mode uses theintegrated GPRS/3G wireless communication module to make remote operation andmonitoring cooperating with the background platform. Since it doesn’t need anyrelated personnel to go to the field, thus greatly raising the safety of the operation.Moreover, the LCD12864is very audio-visual, so it is very convenient for theworkers to make field test, operation and maintenance. Using four buttons tocomplete the operations such as parameter reference, on-site inching and parametersetting is very simple and convenient, as well。As for the software design, it uses μC/OS-II, a multiple task operating systemand according to the requirements of the system function, it establishes several taskmodules, including human-computer interaction module, GPRS communicationmodule, memory module, reactive power compensation module, powermeasurement module. The paper has made detailed description of the functional procedure of every module。The paper not only makes a summary of the whole design, but it also makes aforecast and evaluation of its application prospects and social value。...
