| The expanding power system with growing automation level has brought much more pressure for the dispatchers and operators to control it. How to use the modern advanced computer and artificial intelligence technology to manage the power grid more effectively and reduce the operating pressure, has been an important subject for the engineers and researchers. The intelligent dispatching system whose theoretical research and practical application have achieved certain results comes into view under such background.This paper researched on the intelligent dispatching and decision support system construction, which can realize:when the power grid is operating well, the system can continuously monitor the grid; when the grid catches faults, the system can do fault diagnosis according to the fault alarm information; when the grid has operational tasks, the system can verify the operation procedure and assess the reasonableness of the operation. Finally the auxiliary adjustment strategy was made by the judgments of each module and comprehensive assessment reports were given out also.In structure construction, the system sharing models and data of EMS employs advanced SOA plug-in architecture, integrates the intelligent grid monitoring, fault analysis identification, support decision analysis and operation safety check; Newton-Raphson method and PQ decomposition method were used flexibly for the basic load flow calculation, the PV curve based on continuous flow was studied; for the realization of fault identification and location, fault diagnosis method based on Petri nets was used to show the fault reasoning process graphically, which makes the abstract logical judgments become visual and intuitive. For the system UI, OpenGL technology was introduced to visualize the real-time data and calculation results of the power gird. Also the concept of the theme expansion allows the grid operation and computational analysis data can be organized in different features, which can be displayed intuitively and orderly to the operators.The achievements of this paper can help the dispatchers and operators to manage and control the power grid more effectively, and enhance the security and reliability of grid operation, also can provide relevant technical support and construction experience for the research and engineering application of the intelligent dispatching. |
