| With the increasing of ship deadweight and the application of electrical propulsionsystem, the complexity of ship power station increases.Moreover,it becomes more difficultto control and manage the ship power station. Before the design of ship power station is putinto use, some assessments must be done to ensure the quality of power supply of ship powerstation, which will cost a lot of manpower and material resources. Some of the assessmentsmay be dangerous.However the works mentioned above can be completed very well by computersimulation technology. We can establish a model of the system, simulate the situation thatmay happen and analyse the results. These results can be used to design and estimate shippower station.In this paper we divide the ship power station into four parts including generation,management, distribution and utilization. We study the working principle of each part, use themodular method to establish the models of the diesel engine and speed control system, and theexcitation system. After proving the correctness of these models, we combine these modelswith other electrical components in the SPS toolbox to establish the model of ship powerstation. We simulate the situations that may happen and get the results.The results show how the voltage and current and the generator changes when theworking condition of ship power station changes. These results can be used as a referencewhen designing and estimating ship power station. |
