The automation of ship power station plays an important role in engine room's automation.The main function of ship power station is to keep the continuity, reliability and quality of power supply.In a ship power station which has more than one generator,if the automation of ship power station is expected to be carried out,it has to contact each generator organically to constitute a total control system,which is used to collect and analyze the main information and parameters about the engine, generators,choppers,bus bar and main loads and make judgments.The control system then adopts proper measures under the appropriate condition in order to cope with all kinds of problems that may occur in the course of the ship power station's operation.And the system should make necessary control methods based on the loads.The Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) taken as the core device has strong function as well as stable and reliable performance.It is widely used in the automatic production of modern industry.This paper introduces a monitoring and controlling system with distributed structure.The system is composed of one Industrial Personal Computer and three sub generator system.Each subsystem,which is cored by a set of PLC control modules, could complete a series of function independently,including automatic start module, automatic paralleling module,frequency and power automatic control module,and automatic stop module.The Industrial Personal Computer and the three sub generator systems communicate through Profibus-DP fieldbus,constituting intercommunication, and put the control functions down entirely.This paper focuses on the realization of main function modules in the subsystem with PLC technology and the interface designed with MCGS configurable software.By analyzing the ship power station and ensuring the number of input and output ports,this paper introduces how to carry out the hardware choosing and configuration.And this paper proposes the concrete control strategy to realize the function of the partial and the whole of the automatic control devices of the shipping power station.Finally,aiming at the adjustment of frequency in automatic paralleling part,this paper introduces a method of auto weight adjusting fuzzy-PID controller.By using MATLAB software,combined with the characteristics of marine generator,the paper establishes a model of power station system and completes simulation,and makes compare between the fuzzy-PID algorithm and the sole algorithm:fuzzy algorithm and PID algorithm.The analytical results show that the effect of fuzzy-PID algorithm is better than the other two algorithms.
