The Research And Application Of Voice Simulate System In Electric Vehicle

Reducing the inner and outer noise of vehicles is always one of the targetswhich vehicle producers and designers pursue, in order to fundamentally solvethe problem of noise of vehicles, at the mean time meet the requirement thatcountry calls for environment protection. However, researchers in the vehiclesafety field note that "being too quiet" of HEV&EV will result in a potentialthreaten to pedestrian. For that, this paper proposes a voice simulate system ofelectric vehicle which based on messages such as vehicle drive mode and speedand sends simulate traditional vehicle engine voice to the vehicle driveorientation so that warn pedestrian and cyclists to avoid vehicle directional, thissystem applies to hybrid electric vehicle that have pure electric drive mode, pureelectric vehicle and fuel cell electric vehicle.Voice simulate system includes controller PD78F0881UM, power amplifierM61545AFP, voice frequency amplifier R2A25313FP, directional sound andCAN bus interface. The remarkable advantage of voice simulate system is thatcan play continuous engine simulate voice and ensures that the simulate enginevoice has no interruption and naturally changes voice in the connection ofdifferent speed, this system reaches the goal that really simulate engine voiceand solves the problem that "being too quiet" of HEV&EV poses threat topedestrian and plays an important role for the pedestrian safety note.This paper has five chapters that respectively introduces the design ideas,the launch manner of software and hardware of voice simulate system and the application and research on electric vehicle. The essential idea of this systemfollows as:1、controller accepts total condition message such as vehicle speed,work pattern of drive system and accelerate footboard angle by CAN bus, so thatconfirms control state such as whether voice simulate system work, intensityand volume of voice and uploads messages such as work and bug state of voicesimulate system;2、power amplifier amplifies voice frequency signal thatcontroller sent out before sends to directional sound;3、directional sound sendssimulate engine voice to the area of120angle of vehicle drive direction, inorder to warn pedestrian in the area that there are vehicles coming to them andneed to avoid, and have no impact to others. Voice simulate system realizes thatwarn pedestrian safety meanwhile reduces the noise pollution to environment tothe greatest extent.
