The pile with expanded branches and plates is a new type of structure of reinforced concrete piles.This kind of pile type based on bionics principle-copy roots of root structure, combining with the characteristics of variable cross section piles traits, it developed a new pile type structure.The type of branch pile not only reforms on the pile body structure,but also changed the working mechanism.Due to the complexity of squeezed branch pile stress mechanism, it is not used widely in practical engineering right now. Its theoretical research lags behind engineering practice. This article rely on consulting related literature information collection, through the indoor model test and the analysis of the finite element software,studying on the bearing capacity behavior of branch pile in different soil. The main research contents are as follows:(a)By designing three sets of indoor model test, compare the results and analysis, Concluded the load transfer mechanism of branch pile in different soil.it means that each branch of the play are not synchronized, it can’t simply stack.(b)By the indoor model test. Analyzed several factors such as soil, branch plate which affect the bearing capacity of pile. It turned out that With the increase of number of branch, The bearing capacity of the pile are obviously improved, The soil strength is higher, the effect is more obvious.(c) Through the establishment of finite element model of branch piles with different separation distance of plates, to simulate the static load on the test of squeezed branch piles in different soil. The results show that Plate body buried depth and spacing has a great influence on the bearing capacity of squeezed branch pile. And the Optimal plate spacing is affected by the soil around the pile.(d) Through the establishment of2-D finite element model of branch piles. Analyzed the bearing capacity of branch pile which in different soil. The results show that the bearing capacity of branch pile will decrease with the distance of branch plate from the hard soil reduced, and the hard soil is, the larger decline.(e) By establishing four groups finite element model of different disk diameter of squeezed branch pile,analyzed the effect of bearing capacity of the pile which brought by the diameter of the branch. The results show that bigger diameter the branch plate is.the larger bearing capacity of the pile will be.when the diameter exceeds a certain value, the settlement will be more than the normal use of settlement control values. So large increase in diameter of branch plate will bring a bad economy...
