With the wide application of computer technology and ship manufacturing AccelerationStrategy, it is difficult to keep up the rhythm of the pace of the information age for Marinegenerating set of traditional water resistance load test. In this paper, according to a variety ofills of the traditional water resistance marine generator set load test, we propose a new type ofdry load load units, the computerized test bench through technological innovation, soautomation, digitization, improving its accuracy, find available traceability and improve workefficiency. Ship generator load test is a very important aspect of the shipbuilding industry,there are mainly two kinds of load test methods, one for water resistance, one for dryresistance. Although water resistance load test enables continuous adjustment of resistance,but the water load control accuracy is low, heavy pollution and occupy a large space. Becausethe cost of dry resistive load test is relatively high and the control circuit complexity, and thetraditional resistive load is dry, so most of the limited point adjustment can only be achieved,it is difficult to promote, currently only a handful of units. In this paper, the design of dryresistance load draws in a digital circuit D/A decoder right resistor resistor network concept ofthe right to put forward a new concept of dry-resistance load to solve the generator dryresistance load continuously adjusted to achieve a difficult problem. In this paper, the testbench transformation process, the application of embedded industrial control computertechnology, with the original load test bench combine the use of advanced modern sensors,can accurately collect the data in real time, the computer can process the test monitoring, andcan automatically record all the data, which reduces the work intensity of testing personnel toimprove the detection accuracy, improve work efficiency and economic benefits.Paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of water resistance and dry resistiveload tests, load tests on dry resistance of the hardware selection and design, using specialmeasuring instruments8961C1generator set parameters for the collection, designed rightresistance adjustment circuit and gradually adding the comparison algorithm to achieve a dryload power stepless adjustment. To meet the needs of more equipments and more masterstations, Industrial Ethernet and Modbus TCP/IP are used to replace RS-485and Modbus RTU, which makes the communication speed from19.2Kbps up to100Mbps, and greatlyimproves the real-time performance of network.The system realizes the marine generating set automatically adjusting the current test anddata automatically recorded in improving the performance indicators while significantlyreducing the labor intensity. It has the advantages of energy-efficient and helpful for shipyardsto achieve industrial upgrading.
