:With its characteristics of large capacity,high speed,safety and comfort,urban rail transit system has already became the preferred choice to deal with the serious pressure of urban traffic.What’s more,the construction of urban rail network is been pushed forward day by day. Along with the rapid development of urban rail transit and the process of gradually forming into network, the demand for urban rail transit is growing,at the same time the matching relationship between the rail transit network capacity resource configuration and the resident travel demand is quite complex.It will be a very meaningful research direction to analyse the influential factors of urban rail transit network passenger transport capacity and study the matching relationship between the network capacity and the passenger travel demand, and finally put forward the calculation method from the basic concept of urban rail transit network passenger transport capacity.First of all, the basic concept of urban rail transit network passenger transport capacity was put forward on the basis of summarizing the domestic and foreign related research.Meanings of the concept was analyzed,and then influential factors was studied from the aspects of the supply of the urban rail transit network,the passenger travel demand and the actual operation of the network system.Secondly,the passenger travel process was described in passenger flow patern,and the distribution of the passenger in the network was ignored.The network was considered as a directed graph G=(V, E, C). A maxium flow model of urban rail transit network passenger capacity was constructed based on the static and physical network of urban rail transit network to analyse the lagest passenger transport capacity in theory.Then,the topology structure of the urban rail transit network was analysed and built.The passengers’ route choice behavior in the network was mainly studied.One kind of passengers’ generalized cost function which is more suitable for urban rail transit was presented based on the passenger utility model.What’s more,an improved Logit model was also presented to calculate the probability of passengers choice of different logical paths.On the basis of the above theory,a bi-level programming model whose upper goal is the maxium OD traffic volume that the network could accommodate was put forward.This model was used to calculate the actual transport capacity available.A genetic algorithm based technique was applied to solve the bi-level programming model on the premise that the bi-level programming problem be simplified.Finally,a network of partial Beijing rail transit was designed,two calculating methods was put to use to the network,and the the adaptability and accuracy of them was verified,what’s more the meanings of the results was analysed.
