Train control systems play important roles in the ensurance of the safety of railway transportations. By controlling the running direction, running intervals and running speeds, the train control system helps to realize the goal of safe operation. With the rapid development of China’s high-speed railway and the increasing of trains’ speeds, the failure of train control system may lead to disaster, e.g.,"7.23" particularly important railway traffic accident occurred in YongWen Line, which makes safety of train operation come into the focus. Therefore it is necessary to extend safety analysis of the general simulation development platform of train control system.The paper aims at the long-existing simulation problems of train operation control system, such as complexity of process scheduling, irrational structure, the difficult control of simulation time and the poor extension of system. Starting from top-level design, this paper proposed a software platform based on MAS (Multi-Agent System) architecture combining with middleware technology to realize quantitative safety analysis by using simulation result data. The main work is as follows:Firstly, the problems of current train control system simulation as well as home and abroad research is introduced, which analyze the necessity of adding safety analysis platform by introduction of ASCAP (Axiomatic Safety-Critical Assessment Process) framework proposed by Virginia Rail Safety Center.Secondly, the MAS platform security architecture suitable for CTCS-3train control system is proposed. It combined DAI (distributed artificial intelligence) with features of CTCS-3train control system simulation platform. At the same time, the JADE (Java Agent Development Framework) platform middleware technology is embedded to show operation and demonstrate platform in form of graphically visualizing.Finally, the significance and development of the train control system safety analysis platform for risk analysis is summarized by using simulation results and DBN (Dynamic Bayesian Network) algorithm,Simulation for specific scenarios of train control system and accessing to the data in quantitative risk analysis is the future trend.
