In recent years, the oil production reduce sharply and international oil prices swell fast, the coal resources facing depletion gradually,there is not much resources for mining and using. At the same time, the environment has been seriously polluted by the emissions of hazardous substances by burning and using of fossil fuels. Biomass energy is a renewable energy which is inexhaustible,and it is the only renewable carbon source. Biomass has the advantages of low pollution and high yield, etc. more and more attention has been paid to it. Therefore, the research and development of biomass pyrolysis technology is of great significance.The pine sawdust/NiO microwave catalytic pyrolysis were studied in this paper. The NiO/Al2O3catalyst was prepared by coprecipitation using Al2O3as catalyst support. And the catalytic activity of NiO/Al2O3was characterized by using X-ray diffraction (XRD). The effects of the microwave power, reaction time and ratio of NiO/Al2O3on the conponents and their content in the bio-oil were investigated.The process parameters corresponding to maximum bio-oil yield have been obtained, which provided instrucitons for futher orienting conversion or refining.We found that microwave power has a great impact on pine sawdust pyrolysis product yield and composition.The lower microwave power (400W~600W) can reduce the amout of acid and alcohol production of pine sawdust pyrolysis. While higher microwave power (600W~1000W) can increase the phenol content of pine sawdust pyrolysis. The phenol content increased greatly after adding NiO/Al2O3catalyst. When the microwave is600W and the ratio of NiO/pine sawdust is10/100, the Guaiacol content reached a maximum of27.34%;the Mequinol content reached a maximum of7.2%; the EUGENOL content reached a maximum of9.69%. It showed that the NiO catalyst prepared in experiments has a good rool in promoting the production of phenol.
