PC T rigid frame bridge had been undergo a peak period of construction. With the rapiddevelopment of traffic transport industry and the increasing of operation period in our country,PC T rigid frame bridge appear different types of damage. for example, the leak of bridgedeck, box beam crack, cantilever-deflection excessive, deflect excessively of the cantileveredend, clear inflection point in the connection of corbels and hanging beams. Those damagescan make an very bad effect on aesthetic and comfort.Therefore, aimed at guarding safeoperation and improving the comfort and smoothness of crane, the design of reinforcementfor PC T rigid frame bridge has great theoretical and practical significance.First, this paper introduces the development process and structure characteristics of PC TRigid Frame Bridge and concludes familiar damages of this bridge type. Contrary to thosedamages, introduces several familiar technologies of bridge strengthening, then evaluate andanalysis on external prestressing reinforcement technology for retarding T-component bottomflexibility, the research was based on the reinforcement of a T rigid frame bridge inGuangdong Province..then, reference the design drawing, build the calculating model of theactual bridge by Dr. Bridge, analysis the stress and strain of the structure under inequableloads combination; according to the reinforcement scheme, comparative analysis on principalstress, normal stress, deformation and strength checking between original structure andreinforced structure, prove that the external prestressing can effectively increase the reserveof section stress,Simulation results prove that the reinforcement is feasibility. The results ofstatic load test show that the bridge stiffness measurement is greater than theoreticalcalculation, and the actual deflection is less than the theoretical value;The results of the longterm health monitor also demonstrates that floor elevation is stable, the deflection of corbelshas moderating trend and plane alignment of bridge is smooth. The results of theoreticalcalculation, static load test and the long term health monitor ensure that the reinforcementscheme have been achieved good effects. The strengthening analysis and study of PC T rigidframe bridge can be provided the information to the similar project practice.
