| Curtain wall for building not only has good resistance to wind and rain intrusion and airpermeability, compared with the traditional characteristics of enclosure structure, it is lighterand suits for super high-rise buildings, seismic.The emergency of more and more new technologies and products of curtain wall putforward new requirements to curtain wall testing equipment and method. With the widespread of curtain wall, the quality problem is emphasized and common. As a most importantway to measure the quality of curtain wall for building, the testing is more and morerecognized and supported by the government, the owners and the general public in recentyears, especially for the ultra-conventional (large, irregular) of detection equipment andmethod of curtain wall.In this paper, the author summarizes some experiences on the engineering practice ofcurtain wall for building. This paper will illustrate the key points on engineering practice fromthe aspect of construction organization, plate transport, measurement line, plate lifting, detailprocessing and product protection. The unit plate lifting and detail processing especially theprocessing of drainage system are keys for construction. Testing for performance on watertightness and wind resistance is key for testing. The paper will take detail example to certifyhow to make project reduce risk of construction safety, ensure the construction period andachieve good economic benefit, meanwhile to improve project quality and meet the technicalspecifications which has important sense on improving the safety performance of curtain wallstructure, ability of preventing the leakage of rainwater the seismic capacity, and energysaving and environmental protection performance. |
