Entering the twenty-first Century,Guangdong Province has gradually built a number ofS109E gas steam combined cycle units,with the dual fuel combustion of heavy oil and naturalgas,180MW load referring to as9E class gas turbine. The number of units has played a verypositive role in the mitigation of Guangdong Province power shortage situation in recentyears. This kind of power generation enterprise achieved good economic benefit. in the firstfew years since built and put into operation,because of the cheap fuel price,the shortage ofelectric power,enough power demand。As energy price continue to rise and Guangdong Province electric power new largecapacity units continuous production, power load demands relatively easing. With theincreasing capacity of power transmission from west to east,the function of9E peakinggeneration has been weakening. The fuel and power prices of this kind power plant upsidedown,some relying on the local government subsidies to survive,because electricitygeneration quantity cannot guaranteed,the plant has entered the operational difficulties:power generation business of power generation enterprises meeting long-term losses,bankcredit rating,corporate financing difficulties,difficult to fully guarantee the flow of loans,financial costs continue to rise.With the continuous development of natural gas industry in Guangdong Province,including liquefied natural gas from a variety of import,Second West to East Gas pipeline puton production in Guangdong. In accordance with the relevant requirements of environmentalprotection,most9E units have been on oil to gas transformation engineering. However,dueto rising gas prices,and the peak power performance of9E unit,the plants relying on simplepower generation unit are still difficult to run.How to solve the survival problem of9E unitsplaces in front of such plants. Through the implementation of transformation of CCHP for9E unit in Shenzhen area,realizing energy cascade utilization, can achieve thermal efficiency increment of9Eunits.According to the policies of national energy-saving emission,this method is conduciveto the development of national low carbon industry,alleviating the environmental pressureand developing a follow-up of life solution for this kind of enterprises. Thus achieving theoptimal asset unit of this type,avoiding power plant waste and loss of property caused by thecollapse of a large number of idle.
