Solar photovoltaic power generation has become, energy shortage situation, a hot area of research now. Solar energy is clean, renewable, and the study of solar energy conversion technology has become mature. It can be used widely for many fields, so the development of photovoltaic power generation has a good prospect; The research has profound significance.This paper deeply studied the independent solar charging control system; It studied mathematical model of solar system, battery SOC algorithm, tracking MPPT algorithm,three phase smart charging algorithm. Based on battery’s charging and discharging process, residual capacity control algorithm is proposed. On this basis, maxi-mum power point tracking use a constant initial voltage, this can improve the speed of MPPT during entire system’s startup process. At the same time, MPPT was combined with charging methods, which a new three phases charging strategy was proposed.Finally, based on BUCK circuit,it was made by charge and discharge circuit. We design a hardware circuit by pulse width modulation which can achieve the algorithms of charging and discharging. Whole system used the ARM chip as the control center, through detecting all parameters of the battery and solar panels. Through the software of the control algorithm, feedback can adjust the duty ratio of BUCK circuit switch tube which realize the intelligent charging and discharging function of the whole system.The test result indicate the system can effectively select the most effective way of charging and discharging according to the state of battery charge capacity; At the same time, the MPPT maximum power tracking combined three phase intelligent charging method. That is effective and can realize the function of the whole system.
