With the in-depth and rapid development of emerging smart grid industry,the whole society actively promote energy saving and environmental protection,low-carbon lifestyle, the guidance of national implement peak-valley step tariffenergy consumption policy, the household smart electricity will become themainstream of household electricity.This study combine the latest ARM technology with mature power carriercommunication technology, achieved with ARM9core for the motherboard andpower carrier module SENS-01as well as energy mining control moduleconnected, then transplant embedded Linux operating system, write drivers andQT applications, realize the collection of household appliances electricity andcontrol of household appliances, and displayed by LCD.The main contents of this paper is in intelligent household electricitymanagement center based on ARM to realize the function of the collection of allhousehold appliances electricity, at the same time, based on the current tariffinformation to control the switches of home appliance equipment, so as toachieve the purpose of rational use of electricity and domestic intelligence. In theconcrete implementation process of the system, firstly, with the help of Altiumdesigner to design hardware circuit diagram and schematic of MCU module andenergy metering module and electrical control module and data storage moduleas well as clock module, made of PCB board, meanwhile, complete thedebugging of both hardware and software. Secondly, completed the building ofboth hardware and software of the main control board ARM9, and fulfill codingand testing of under the Linux serial interface, LCD and touch screen drivers.Finally, utilizing Qt Creator design and realize the main interface of intelligentmanagement center, user login interface, electricity detail interface, power-consumption analysis interface, grid information interface, load management interface, and system settings interface. In addition, the data transmissioncommunication protocol of master station and slave station are also designed, itis made in the multi-function watt-hour meter communication protocolsDL/T645-1997based on the modification.The practical tests show that the system is of abundant communicationinterfaces and mutual man-machine interface, and runs well, operation isrelatively stable, the expectant design requirements has been achieved. Moreover,the system is of the value of popularization due to the easily install merit.
