With western expansion and the deepening of reform and opening-up policy,various kinds of transportation demand is growing rapidly, and it provides thetunnel construction enterprises unprecedented opportunities and challenges. As akind of special building in civil construction, the tunnel is characterized by largeconstruction, poor environment, high technical requirements, high risk, etc.Tunnel project is also the key control project of railway and highway, and theproportion of the tunnel project in the whole line project is maximum, so thequality of the tunnel project will directly affects the whole project. If the tunnelproject could be completed with good quality on time, it will play a promotingrole of the reputation of the tunnel construction enterprise invisibly, but the mainpurpose of the enterprise is a profit, so it must be able to guarantee themaximization of the enterprise’s profit. Because of the widely use of computertechnology, the enterprise accumulates a large number of construction dataduring the long-term construction, but the ability of the tunnel constructionenterprise’s computerization is insufficient, so they can’t make full use of thesedata. So it is an urgent problem that how to better use these data to controlconstruction cost in order to improve the enterprise profits in the process oftunnel project.This dissertation research the cost control of engineering project’s researchsituation, data mining on cost control’s research situation, and decision supportsystem’s research situation, combining with tunnel project’s constructionenvironment, construction period and project data. It analyzes the characteristicsof demand for tunnel project of decision support and data mining, and designsthe tunnel project cost control decision support system based on data mining forthe overall design and detailed design of each subsystem. Finally it implements this system with the help of C#.NET technology and SQLSERVER2008datamanipulation tools, and verifies the effectiveness of the system using the data ofZhong Tianshan tunnel project.
