The distribution ntework is a directly link faced to the consumers, on one hand, it shoulder the responsibility of providing electricity with high quality; on the other hand, it need to ensure maximum efficiency of power distribution equipments, so as to reduce cost. Therefore, This paper lays emphases on how to handle the relationship between the performance and the cost of the distribution equipments.Based on research status home and abroad, combined with the actual operation characteristics of the distribution network, this paper established the life cycle cost model of the distribution equipments based on value method, and then made sensitivity analysis about the above LCC model, judging the ability of taking risk. In view of the LCC model of the distribution transformers and lines differ greatly; this paper discussed the sensitivity of the two kinds of equipments separately. At last, this paper measured life cycle management level of the distribution equipment from safety, efficiency and cost angle, it made the safety, efficiency and cost index for distribution equipments such as distribution transformer, the distribution line, the section post and the pole top switch. Using C#as the programming language, developed the distribution equipment life cycle management evaluation decision system, finally, verified the system developed in this paper.
