As some vehicle tests cost a long time and require operating the vehicle repeatedly, and the test environment is poor, manual drive is not enough to meet the high accuracy demands, and driving actuator is used to control the car to ensure accurate and reliable test results. Compared to regular vehicle, Multi-axis vehicle has high mobility, big power and strong load capacity, military multi-axis vehicle should adapt to different climate conditions. Therefore, the demands of vehicle on multi-axis vehicle are higher, and the driving actuator should have higher control accuracy, durability and stability. At present the driving actuator used for multi-axis vehicle is not common, most of which is for regular vehicle. Automated driving actuator for multi-axis vehicle with high accuracy, durability and stability can largely improve the accuracy and authenticity of test results, which is of great significance for the development of vehicle test technology in China.Based on the analysis of present situation and developing trend of automated driving actuator, The thesis analyzed the key technical problems about driving actuator. To solve the problem of the movement of the shift lever on the vertical plane, a slide joint and a rotate joint are used to connect with shift lever. A virtual prototype of the shift actuator established, ADAMS is used to make kinematics and dynamics analysis on the shift actuator, from which law of motion and force of components and joints is acquired. And the simulation indicates that shift actuator can meet the demands on shift speed, time and space, and that its structure is reasonable. On this basis, a control system is developed to implement the high accuracy control on accelerator, clutch and shift lever, it provides several modes to meet the control demands.
