In recent years, with the rapid development of the domestic auto industry, competition of automobile industry is becoming increasingly intensified. In order to win the competition in the future vehicle market, many auto companies increased efforts to develop new models, which means greater efficiency was required while developing new product.Traditional vehicle development process need to go through the preliminary design,the test trial,and after the repeated modifications to finalize the design.Because the long development cycle, this design method has been unable to meet the development requirements of the current automobile industry.Because of the intense competition of the market,the enterprise must be within the shortest possible time and the lowest development costs of the design to meet the market demand.It is required that the various performances of products should be predicted in the early design,and optimize the structure of the car.In order to improve the efficiency of multi-axis automobile design. the multi-axis vehicle simulation analysis system which based on VC++and ADAMS is developed.This paper focuses on the following points:First,introduces the research and development status of the multi-axis automobile,the application of virtual prototyping technology in the field of automobile recarch and development,and the secondary of the multi-body dynamics software development status.Meanwhile,made a brief description of the structure about this article.Then,in the second chapter,the secondary development methods of ADAMS are described in detail.Mainly introduces the ADAMS user design methods and the method of combining with VC++and ADAMS development methodology,and the advantage of the second method is introduced.Then the overall design of the multi-axis vehicle simulation anslysis system is elaborated,including system’s design idea,the function of the system design,and system interface design.Ensure that the system fully functional and reliable operation.In the fourth chapter of this paper,the implementation of the functional modules of the system is introduced in detail.Including the vehicl parametric modeling module,simulation and analysis modules,and the results post-processing modules.System get the various parameters that input by users,backstage after converting the operation command combination with ADAMS.So,the commands file is created.After the commands files is invoked by ADAMS, the functions of modeling,simulation,and results output could be achieved.The fifth chapter test the system by a three-axis military rover. Through a running example, the software structure, user interface, calculation and analysis function as well as the simulation function are shown obviously, from which we are easy to find the software can improve the design efficiency and shorten the automoblie development time.Finally, the paper made a summary and outlook,which Summarized the results obtained in this paper and directions that could be improved in the future development process and further study.
