Computer monitoring system is based on the control signal of the modern railway which combined with the latest technology, such as sensing technology, field bus technology, computer communication with network, database technology and software engineering technology. It is mainly used for monitoring and recording the condition of signal equipment which is the equipment of providing the quality of signal equipment and fault analysis for electric department. At the same time, the system also has the function of data logic judgment. It can alarm timely when the signal equipment deviate from a predetermined limit or work in abnormal state to avoid the affect safe operation due to the fault or violated operating of equipment. Therefore, its main role is to ensure traffic safety, strengthening the signal equipment combined with the Department of management and monitoring the use of railway signal equipment. In this paper, it introduces a kind of signal generator for railway signal microcomputer monitoring. It is designed for microcomputer monitoring system and it can generate complex DC and AC railway signal. This paper mainly studies on hardware and software structure, and the experimental results are given at last.Microcomputer monitoring signal generator is to solve the problem that it has monitoring equipment only but without signal source. It applied the embedded system technology, CAN bus communication technology and signal power amplifier, and realized the5kinds of railway signals which can generate at the same time. These5kinds of railway signals including voltage of25Hz phase sensitive track circuit, AC and DC voltage of switch indication, current of switch action, current of signal machine and voltage and current of semi-automatic block system.According to the basic principle of railway signaling computer monitoring, in section of hardware, through serial touch screen as the system input. Then we use the CAN bus to transmit the input data is to the corresponding signal plate which can output the signal. Using the high power amplifier LM3886to amplify the signal to the appropriate amplitude which achieves the final aim of monitoring. In the section of software, it applies CORDIC algorithm and pulse width modulation to output sine wave, then uses of Matlab to simulate the algorithm, implements on the platform of Cortex-M3at last. In the design and implementation, due to the floating-point computation ability of Cortex-M3platform is limited, we realize the innovation of floating-point algorithm on the fixed-point microchip after the improving.Practical application shows that, the microcomputer monitoring multi signal generator in this paper can meet the requirements of monitoring.
