As the city develops, urban rail transit have played a more important role in public transportation. The safety of urban rail transit is an important matter which related to the social stability. The fire alarm and fire-fighting system of metro vehicle is one important part of the whole security system. At present, the metro of domestic manufacture do not have the whole system of fire alarm and fire-fighting. This thesis dose the research of the metro vehicle fire alarm and fire-fighting control system.According to the function, the fire alarm and fire-fighting control system of metro vehicle can be divided into three aspects. They are fire alarm system, fire-fighting system and linkage control system. Starting from status of the project at home and abroad, combined with the particularity and complexity of the metro fire, this thesis designs the overall framework of the system. The design selects the very early smoke detectors and temperature sensing cable as the fire alarm system and the high pressure water mist fire extinguishing system as the fire-fighting system. The thesis introduced the principles and characteristics of them.The thesis designs the linkage control system including software and hardware. The design use ATmega128as the core of the MCU control system. The control board realizes the data acquisition module. The control board realizes the output control module which can control the automatic fire-fighting system. The design uses the RS-485network as the communication module, and the fire alarm data and the control command data can transport in the network. The thesis introduces the software design based on PC. Through the graphical interface, the software monitors the state of each node directly, including sensor state and the temperature state of each node and the communication status of the whole system. The user can also see the fire through the network camera in the software. When the fire is found, user can start the fire-fighting system through the software.Finally, the thesis introduces the test and debugging process, debugging process verifies the correction of the design. And the thesis summarizes the work and rose refinement and improvement in the future.
