Under the background of China’s rapid economic development and the economic globalization, China’s auto parts market is more and more big, the auto parts enterprise competition is becoming more and more excited. Auto parts enterprises to product quality, production efficiency requirements also more and more high, and high speed, high efficiency, high quality, automation, flexibility has become the enterprise needs for their product line. The development of robots and automatic line technology provides a reliable guarantee for the enterprise to realize the above goal. In auto parts, powder metallurgy parts occupy considerable proportion for its lower cutting material, high quality and low cost advantages. There are some deficiencies in the traditional artificial flowing production line of powder metallurgy:(1) Human improper operation may cause damage of powder compactions before sintering, and in the molding and plastic compressor operation, improper operation might cause equipment and human safety accidents, increase the cost of production.(2) The efficiency of manual line is not high, it’s more and more difficult to meet the production requirements.(3) The manual production line is not flexible, and it’s more difficult to achieve the intersection of production in equipment and management.(4) Manual production line need more manpower cost with the increase of production requirements, less humanization or unmanned slowly become important needs for enterprise.Starting from the artificial sintering line of clutch pressure plate, studied the production technology of powder metallurgy sintering, and the specification parameter, method of feeding and blanking, structure parameters of the molding pressure machine, sintering furnace, plastic pressure machine, designed an overall scheme of the automatic sintering production line for clutch pressure plate. Aiming at the shortcomings of the manual production line, I had done the following research in this paper.(1) Instead of manual with the vacuum suction cups scraping parts, solves problem that increases in the cost of production caused by the waste resulting from improper operation.(2) Replace manual line with robot and automatic system to improve the precision and speed of operation, has solved the problem of low efficiency of production, and reduced the labor intensity greatly for workers and the labor cost for enterprises.(3) The design of dual channel in conveyor system solves the problems of double line of intersection production. And it can be achieved of powder metallurgy production requirements of different products by changing the tool of robot, and the corresponding control procedures. It has realized the flexible production line to some extent and has a good economy.The design can improves the quality of the production and production efficiency and reduce the labor cost for the enterprise. The use of robots and the design of dual channel conveyor system, has realized the product intersection production, reduces the cost of the production line modification cased by replacement product. It can be used in the like production, realized automated production of other powder metallurgy parts.
