As the key part of the clutch,pressure plate's mechanical process technic level is related to the wholly clutch product's quality.But the traditional clutch pressure plate's process design is enslaved to different kinds of objective and subjective factors'affect, which had resulted into many drawbacks and also could not adapted to the currently increasingly drastic market competition.To remedy the traditional clutch pressure plate process design's methodical all sorts of malpractices and advance the marketability of clutch's product,we should improve the clutch pressure plate's process design method to advance the level of the process of the part.The process technology based on the feature recognition is one of virtual and feasible method to advance the level of part's process.The theses uses the clutch pressure plate as a object of study to establish clutch pressure plate database based on feature and feature recognition system on the platform of SolidWorks system by the way of the development tools of SQL Server2000 and Visual C#,on the base of which the process decision logic regulations based on rules can be established to generate part's machining process's data needed.The overall system implements the automatic transfer of the part's information from CAD to CAPP and CAM system,and advances the level of part's process design.The specific research's contents is as follow:1)Collect the process's information of the clutch pressure plate for a in-deep analyses and reserch to find some of which affects the machining process of the parts,and on the basis of the information,establish the part's feature's classification and construct the part's feature's model.2)Use the information of the parts's feature collected and the tool of the SQL Server 2000 to establish the feature database of the clutch pressure plate on the basis of the parts's feature's model,which includes the clutch pressure plate parts' feature information table, the clutch pressure palte parts'process information table and the clutch pressure plate process matching table.3)Study the part's modeling characteristics by the SolidWorks system and the SolidWorks API to use the tool of Visual C# to develop a procedure which can traverse and extract the information of the feature on the platform of the SolidWorks system,which are used for the system of feature recognition.4)By the research of the production rule representation and with the maching processes's informations of the clutch pressure plate parts on the platform of SolidWorks system,establish the specific feature recognition methods based on rules to identify all maching processing's parts of the pressure plate,and by the topological relation of all of parts of the pressure plate to finish the feature recongition of the global part of the pressure plate.On the basis of the information from the system of the feature recognition and some process decision's support,the process data needed can be generated.
