The bridge crane plays all important role in the national economy as a typical material handling device, So it is important to raise the bridge crane operational efficiency and make the operation system to be secure. The electric control system of the traditional bridge crane adopts rotor circuit applying series resistor in step speed regulation, and it makes the system have many disadvantages, for example:poor reliability, complex operation, high failure rate, high waste of energy, low efficiency ect. So the research on the control system of the bridge crane has practical significance, and it is also a subject for the domestic and foreign experts.With the development of power electronic technology, microelectronics and modemcontrol theory,frequency control technique has been widely used in every field as high-tech and energy-saving technology. The whole performance of the crane could have been improved immensely by frequency control technique. Coupled with the PLC, HMI crane management system involved in making the whole system more perfect and reliable.Based on the steelmaking plant of Benxi Steel260tons crane electric control system upgrading scheme for the foundation, in detail introduced the PLC control system, stator variable voltage speed control system and AC frequency converter application in cranes. Steelmaking plant of260tons crane of original electronic control system for motor rotor loop series resistance speed-regulation, Based on the actual measurement, calculation of crane, to determine the original motor and reducer as basic elements and the lifting mechanism control system upgrade for stator variable voltage speed control system, the translation mechanism control system for AC variable frequency speed control system, On the basis of PLC control HMI crane management system to realize the crane comprehensive monitoring operation, ensure the crane is under the premise of safety and reliability operation. In this paper, combined with the stator variable voltage speed control and frequency conversion speed control system, proposed one kind based on the PLC control strategy implementation method. Firstly, based on the PLC fuzzy control stator variable voltage speed control and frequency conversion speed control system design, and then the two kinds of speed regulation system parameters are introduced in detail. Then elaborated the PLC control system and the principle of PLC and HMI crane management system integration and function realization, finally through the HMI each function picture details HMI crane management system function.
