Subway plays an increasingly important role in our lives and becomes the preferred transportation mode for people. It brings us not only convenience but also a variety of security issues. It is so urgent to ensure the safe operation of the subway for the government and the management department given that it has aroused the public’s attention. Compared with the developed countries, the subway is still in rapid development period in our country and the safety management experience is still insufficient. Otherwise, Considering the current development situation, the research on the subway operation safety management is very rare. Therefore, safety assessment on the subway from the risk management perspective is so essential based on the analysis on all the risk of the subway operation. Only in this way, we can find the weakness, strengthen the management methods, reduce the accident rate and make the subway be the truly convenient and safe mode of transport.This paper firstly talks about the background of the subject, research status, the purpose and significance, and then expounds the research contents and technical route. Then risk performance and categories of Manpower, Equipment, Environment and Management are summed by analyzing the subway operation accident such as fire, digression, stampede, escalator malfunction in the method of fault tree based on accidents summary of the subway of domestic and foreign. According to the results of the analysis, the form of the standard for safety management of subway operation is completed with the help of the stuff in Shenyang metro company, to evaluate the safety management of subway operation. This form is more efficient and better reflects the safety level of subway operation management. After this, two methods are used to evaluate the subway operation safety. Firstly, the evaluation is conducted based on the concrete accident data for each subway system. Secondly, Multi-index comprehensive assessment model is raised to judge the comprehensive level of the safety management based on the index system of comprehensive assessment for the safety management of subway operation. Wherein determining the weights is difficult and AHP and yeahp is used to determine the index weight. The focus of the safety management for the current and future period is determined according to the results and the improved measures and opinions are also given. The management mode for subway operation safety is summed up combined with the previous analysis and results and the systematic analysis on the status and approach of safety management in large domestic and foreign cities.The last part is conclusion and prospection. The evaluation for Shenyang subway proves the model combined safety standardization and comprehensive evaluation of subway operation safety management is feasible. It not only finds the shortcomings and deficiencies of subway operation safety management but also reflects the implementation of the management system. And management system also can be improved based on the results. This model is very important to evaluate the safety management status correctly and improve the level of the management.
