The Aerial Camera manipulator equipment to aircraft on an auxiliary equipment, mainly used to control the work of the aerial camera, is also responsible to take pictures of the ground image preview. Project requires the ability to work in inclement weather, environment, equipment and reliable operation, short response time and easy to operate. The main control system is the core of the manipulator, and responsible to organize and control the various components and module of the camera, it is based on PC104for the point of the manipulator and on the upfront design control unit, peripheral together with the image acquisition card,429communication card and other components, the operating system selection of the windows series. The manipulator in most meet the needs of the field work, but there is a system which start slow, bulky, with high power consumption, extended functionality, which restricts the overall performance of the play.This paper is to design a new master of the aerial camera manipulator system based on TI’s DaVinci platform, TI’s advanced digital signal processing technology, embedded digital video processing to the master system, the equivalent of a master control system as a subsystem rather than supplementary of the dedicated video acquisition card, this will not only is conducive to the decrease of the size of the equipment, but also lowered the R&D costs, and I can support a variety of video input with the output format. At the same time the with ARINC429module communication interface, in order to communicate and aerial camera and other equipment. Operating system using Linux, combined with the hardware platform for the cutting and transplantation, to make it streamlined and efficient, to avoid redundancy of the system, to shorten the start-up time, saving valuable time as a result of the fault system restart and urgent task. The main control system is small size, low power consumption, good versatility and scalability, simple operated, can be used as independent module in industrial control areas such as military and civilian, which need digital video processing.
