This paper is based on the analysis and refer to both at home and abroad for the car pedal support reverse engineering data collection and measurement component model reconstruction basis, aimed at pedal support in the use of three coordinates measuring instrument of putting measurement, data acquisition and split, polyhedral joint parts of the model reconstruction and so on, I put forward some new ideas and research. For similar complicated thin-walled parts in the measurement are difficult to obtain more accurate data point cloud, I adopted multiple view data split technology, multi-angle sweep point and intensive stationing. Commonly used in reverse engineering of Bezier, B spline and NURBS curve surface three mathematical model, on the detailed comparison of the advantages and the disadvantages of each, I adopted the function relatively strong and suitable for complicated thin-walled parts reverse modeling NURBS curve surface for the point cloud processing and model reconstruction, and in CATIA software platform to realize the model reconstruction. Later work is the smoothness and surface for the inner parts of the error detection, by using iterative calculation method for average error minimum transformation. For many of the key parts of the inner surface, the application of the two dimension section method to calculate its size error. For the domestic car pedal support research and development provides a research method, and for thin wall-complex thing in reverse engineering of a few questions put forward the relevant approach.
