| The main cylinder of brake pump is an important part in automobile oil hydraulic brake system. Its processing quality directly affects the performance of the entire automobile and traffic safety; so improving its quality is very important. The material of main cylinder is ZL107cast aluminum alloy. In the practical manufacturing of an enterprise, the final processing of the main cylinder hole is honing, but processing quality is unstable and surface roughness often fails to meet requirements.In order to solve this problem, firstly, starting from the material grindability definition and its evaluation index, the performance of ZL107material is analyzed and its grindability is evaluated in this paper; Secondly, the effect regularity of the honing conditions and technology parameters on the honing surface roughness is analyzed in this paper, such as honing liquid, types of adhesive, honing pressure, honing speed, and then the corresponding selection method of these parameters is given; Lastly, based on the horizontal honing machine, a set of experiments are conducted on master cylinder made of ZL107cast aluminum alloy, and a set of reasonable honing conditions and technology parameters are determined by result comparisons. In this paper the optimal honing technology parameters are applied on a main cylinder bore and the surface roughness can reach Ra0.145μm. |
