The primary work includes the following content:(1) analyzing smart home; introducing requirement and design purpose of the system; using UML to descript the working flow; separating different functions; building up schemes.(2) descript details about program method of the combination model, Boa+CGI+Flash,which is used on embedded smart home system,.(3) the design and deploy of smart home server in local network, including design of database; developing of domain web server; management system of runtime properties.(4) basing on the way of which smart home system connect to network, thesis will descript carefully about COM model working on IE and the way about how it works.(5) building up a client system programs on Java’s J2ME and Android platform.The thesis finally will build a system which can be used by both PC and smart phones. The system could control electrical equipment in home and monitor the house any time by internet or mobile network. It has greatly improved the level of family safety and property protections, and it is conducive to build a safe city and a harmonious society. Moreover, it has brought lots of convenience for people’s daily life.
