Study On The Evaluation Theory And Method Of Construction Of Public Buildings’ Indoor Signage System

In daily life and work, indoor space signage system of public buildings in the city provides a landmark recognition system and information communication for people who walk, work or live in it. Its objective is to provide people with all kinds of information, to direct road, identify the functions of buildings’ internal space simply, rapidly and accurately.The large-scale construction of city gave birth to the rapid development of signage system of public buildings in city. Lots of problems, such as good and bad technology and management capability of the enterprises mixed together, missing of standard, management, industry self-discipline, and the government support and control, and so on, not only make disadvantageous effects to the development of the industry, but also affected the basic function, the overall image and security level of the city. These problems not only brings to the unfavorable effects, but also affected the basic function, the overall image of the city and security level.In order to ensure that the space of public buildings signage system can run highly effectively, safely, orderly, while it provides public information oriented service accurately for citizens and tourists. There is an urgent need to establish evaluation theories and methods, a comprehensive assessment of the effect on the construction installation and maintenance planning, production of the system.In this context, in2013January, urban and rural construction ministry standards division commissioned the preparation of "public building interior space signage system technical specifications", to regulate and guide the public architectural interior space signage system of our city’s in the future. I have the honor to follow my tutor Lu Jinsheng, with its complete standard text preparation. I am mainly responsible for the drafting of the seventh chapters in standard text.This study intends to research domestic and foreign material. On the base of the existing research of the signage system design, interaction design, information evaluation theory, combined with our existing problems of signage system, the reference current industry commonly used assessment methods, I’ll explore and index method applied to the construction effect evaluation of public architectural indoor space oriented system in China, and provide the standard basis for evaluating indoor signage system engineering construction quality, and provide theoretical and technical support to enhance the public architectural indoor space signage system design concept and the level of project construction, and further promote our country public architectural indoor space signage system standardization, the standardization process, and shorten the difference with international standard.
