The basic components of the normal distance measuring system and the precision distance measuring system are basically the same,but the difference between the two systems is the range of distances that can be measured.In the aircraft approach phase,in order to ensure the safety of the crew and passengers,the military standard of the People's Republic of China proposed higher ranging requirements for the precision distance measuring equipment(Distance Measuring Equipment/Precision,DME/P).This paper focuses on the research and implementation of precision ranging equipment based on relevant standards.Based on the theory of the normal distance measuring system,this paper focuses on the realization of the dual-pulse-to-dual mode scheme of the precision measuring system.Firstly,it was an overview of the normal distance measuring system,which included evolution and research actuality of itself.The goals and the significance of this paper were elaborated as well.Then,the two basic components of the ranging system,the airborne equipment and the ground beacon station are briefly introduced.The two simulation tools of VS2013 and matlab are used to simulate all the signals transmitted by the airborne and ground stations respectively.The difference between the initial approach mode(IA)and the final approach mode(FA)is described in terms of bandpass,low-pass filtering,post-data processing and other modules.Finally,the search algorithm of the normal distance measuring system which is technical difficulty is introduced,the difference between the simulated search algorithm and the digital search algorithm is described in detail,and the improved digital search algorithm is discussed.The digital search algorithm achieves nearly 90% more efficient than the simulated search algorithm by this paper.In the automatic gain control module(AGC),the balance after the comprehensive calculation of the feedback factor;in the data post-processing module,this paper improves the singular value elimination scheme,and then applies these schemes.Finally,entering the testing process,the application of the upper computer interface based on the Lab Windows/CVI platform and the integrated software environment(ISE)respectively detects static data and dynamic data and performs hardware simulation,and analyzes the measured data results.The final test results achieved an error level that exceeded 30% of the standard required by the standard.However,the problem still exists in this paper is that the simulated signal-to-noise situation is simple compared with the real environment,and there is no in-depth study on human interference according to military standards.These remaining problems are waiting for further comprehensive research.
