In the process of carrier aircraft flying test with a lot of flight parameters, on-board recorder is one of the important equipment to record many parameters of launch vehicles, Its record parameters such as vibration、shock、flight attitude to the research on the performance of launch vehicles have a vital role. The recorder after landing at the point of impact area, the vast and time-consuming field test success or failure is large extent determines of the recycling. At present the most common way is to release the ribbon in the process of recorder falling, its convenient observers to capture the falling target. But at the scene of the test due to the impact of the deviation and the uncertainty of the surroundings that make the search work may last for weeks to months and the search failure also indicates the failure of the whole test, it’s to a huge, sophisticated, and expensive impede flight test is intolerable for all developers. So to solve the on-board recorder quickly recovery problems in the post-test become the focus of current research and design.Demand for this kind of missile recorder fast recovery, the article developed a kind of missile borne recorder beacon based on the technology of radio direction finding. Briefly reviewed the recorder beacon working environment and work characteristics in this paper, selected the suitable electromagnetic waves for micro-strip antenna work. Analyzed the working principle of micro-strip antenna and based on this principle selected the microwave band electromagnetic wave that is suitable for the micro-strip line launch work. Carried on the detailed design of the beacon transmitter antenna and use the full wave electromagnetic simulation software HFSS13.0optimized analysis of the key parameters for micro-strip antenna. Beacon transmitter hardware circuit completed by the mixed signal microcontroller C8051F330, broadband frequency synthesizer ADF4350and HCM245selection switch and other core devices. Make the missile recorder beacon system with reliability test, and a variety of simulation test under the condition of practical application, the test data show that the direction positioning system can be achieved within a certain range of direction finding positioning function.
