Photoelectric imaging device in the process of work, often need to detect lightand dark between the target illumination intensity ratio of one million or moregenerally, to the bright and dark targets were also detected, usually require imagingequipment with large dynamic range.The rocket during the launch phase, the flame high brightness, causephotoelectric imaging device cannot see the scattered objects or rocket body, theaccident cannot correctly diagnosis; in the field of aerospace investigation,observation, when pointing to space borne photoelectric imaging device and the sunangle is small, big area will cause the image sensor saturation, formation of halo,Blooming phenomena, the photoelectric imaging equipment failure, once encounterfield memory in a bright object, or the sun mirror and so on, will cause thephotoelectric imaging device cannot normal detection scene image. Considering theeconomic, technical difficulty and scope of application, at present a lot of existingones still can’t meet many high brightness target real-time imaging measurementrequirements, and most of the means and methods of image dynamic range in60~80dB, a smaller dynamic range.This paper describes an adaptive dynamic range imaging method; this method isthe use of TI Company’s digital micro mirror array DMD (Digital MicromirrorDevice) spatial light modulator. The micro mirror array digital micro mirror array spatial light modulator with DMD image sensor can be solved simultaneously detectweak target in dynamic scenes, to obtain high dynamic image data, light efficiency,its high reliability, precise regulation level and economic advantages, so it has a goodapplication prospect.In this paper, imaging in high dynamic radiation detection, micro mirror arraycontrol method to realize the pixel intensity modulation is studied, designed to makethe detection dynamic range detection system to amplify the66dB DMD drivecontrol. Firstly, the article expounds the status quo at home and abroad, the DMDspatial light modulator and the liquid crystal spatial stresses are compared todetermine the controller, DMD spatial light modulator for the superiority of the pixelintensity modulation system; secondly, introduces the development of DMD,structure, intensity control principle and main parameters; then introduced the DMDof imaging system dynamic range promotion principle, and to make the detectiondynamic range detection system of the amplification of66dB, the DMD control isanalyzed, and the design of control system are described in detail in the main controlmodule; then according to the actual scene imaging of the non adjacent pixel edgeregion of the value changes slowly, put forward for the DMD drive mode pixel stagelight modulation algorithm-adaptive spatial domain method, it has fast convergencespeed; finally, according to the experiment, given the DMD pixel and image detectorpixel matching method, and verified the correctness of the control design.
