At present the world shipbuilding industry are in a pack for the situation, inChina, the shipbuilding design cycle is long, material utilization is low, materialprocurement costs and financial costs are high. When an ordinary shipyard is made inchina, Japan and South Korea, China’s working hours are about10times of Japan,and3times of South Korea. While the worker’s wages is about1/15of South Korea,the total shipbuilding cost is higher than10%in South Korea. Compared with Japan,South Korea and some developed countries in information technology, China has along way to go. So, shorten the design cycle of the ship and increase resourceutilization rate are the key factors to improve the efficiency of shipbuilding industry.Then it is necessary to abandon the traditional serial design concept of the ship, andimport a new concept named the ship collaborative design.First,ship’s production design modeling based on the resource pool is studied inthis paper; Secondly because of the complexity of the ship design process, DSMplanning method is used to plan the whole ship’s production design process; Thenbased on the ship’s production design process model and the process planningtechnology, process management techniques based on task node is put forward underthe environment of collaborative design, including the schedule control technologyand change control technology; finally it is operated on the process planning andcontrol system. The paper focuses on the ship’s production design process modeling,process plan, process control and its application on the process planning and controlsystem under the environment of collaborative design.Chapter Ⅰ Introduction. By analysising the domestic and overseas researchstates about resource pool and modeling, process planning method, process controlmethod; the paper presents the advantages and disadvantages of different methods,and elaborate the background、significance and content.Chapter ⅡShipbuilding modeling based on recourse pool. Firstly set up designresources grain model, method of add or delete resources grain, and key resourcesscheduling algorithm, build up recourse pool, provide the basement for the ship’sproduction design process planning Chapter ⅢShipbuilding collaborative design process planning based on DSM.Firstly we discuss the concept and corresponding technique of DSM (Design StructureMatrix, DSM); secondly, the basic procedure and corresponding arithmetic ofcollaborative design process planning is offered; finally, realize shipbuilding andoutfitting process planning through the method above.Chapter Ⅳ Ship’s production design process management based on collaborativedesign. From controlled object, process management and controlled mechanism ofshipbuilding process, we introduce shipbuilding process control technique based ontask node and collaborative design, and we state the shipbuilding progress and changecontrol technique of shipbuilding process management.Chapter Ⅴ The use of the processplanning and control system in shipbuilding.Constructing shipbuilding process and product model in collaborative design based onthe process planning and control system. We take fitting-out process for example,which includes planning and project implementation, and monitoring constructionschedule by means of the Gantt chart showed fitting-out process; At last, we buildshipbuilding engineering change notice model and fulfill the aim of engineeringchange management.Chapter ⅥConclusion and outlook. Summarize the content and innovation, andpresent question awaited to be researched deeply in the present paper.
