Distribution network is an important part of power systems,because of its owncharacteristics of inductive loads,long and complicated lines,there are a large numberof reactive current and reactive power on the line,increasing the flow and the energyconsumption.It not only brings the electric power company great economic losses,but also affects the electricity quality of the normal production and life seriously.Sosafe and economic operation of distribution network are the important guarantee forpower users’ production and lives.Reactive power optimization of distributionnetwork is an important measure to ensure the safety and economics of distributionnetwork running.Distribution network reactive power optimization and configurationcan improve the power supply quality,lower the system network loss and improve thevoltage qualification rate.Determine the reactive power compensation points andcorresponding reactive power compensation capacity for each compensation point arethe main links of the reactive power optimization of power distribution network.Reactive power optimization of power distribution network is a mixed nonlinearoptimization problem with multi-objective function multi-constraints andmulti-variables.According to the two main problems of it,this paper presents a newmethod of determining the compensation points and the improved genetic algorithmto determine compensation capacity.Finally,we develop the visual interface softwareto solve the question of reactive power optimization of distribution network with theobject of the distribution network at YuHuan country in ZheJiang province.The maincontents are as follows:(1) Building the reactive power optimization model of distribution network andpower flow calculation.(2) Presenting a new method of combining the method of network losssensitivity analysis and the method of reactive quadric accurate moment to determinethe compensation points and the improved genetic algorithm optimization is used todetermine the capacity.Finally,select IEEE28distribution networks as examples toanalyze the results.(3) Writing the software program in C/C++language that is suitable for the actual application,and it has a comprehensive and friendly man-machine interface,which is easy to operate....
