With the development of power electronics technology and the emergence ofhigh-performance power switch and integrated chip, switching power supply with the advantagesof smaller loss, lower cost and higher efficience is widely used in communications, aerospace,home appliances and other fields. In the field of the Flat Knitting Machine System, performanceevaluation of switching power supply is different, so the adoptive topology and operating modeare different. This dissertation researches on key technologies of switching power supply for theFlat Knitting Machine System in three aspects: reducing switching powr supply’s loss, size andcost, ensuring its efficincy. It is of great significance for the design of switching power supply.Aimming at switching power supply for the Flat Knitting Machine System, the basic theoryand application characteristics of switching power supply are studied, multiple-output switchingpower Supplies for servo drives of Flat Knitting Machine based on DCM and various topologyoutput switching power supply for needle selection system of Flat Knitting Machine based onCommon DC bus are designed in this paper. Main contents are as follows:(1) The basic theory and application characteristics of fly-back converter and forwardconverter are introduced, and their advantages and disadvantages are discussed.(2) Aimming at switching power supply for servo drives of Flat Knitting Machine, throughthe theoretical calculation, the loss of the traditional multiple-output switching power suppliesfor servo drives of Flat Knitting Machine based on CCM is analysed. Multiple-output switchingpower supplies for servo drives of Flat Knitting Machine based on DCM is designed. The designof the input circuit, fly-back converter circuit, output circuit and control circuit are completed, ithas the advantages of low cost and small volume.(3) Aimming at switching power supply for needle selection system of Flat KnittingMachine, Four-independent output switching power supply for traditional needle selectionsystem of Flat Knitting Machine is improved. Through the analysis of switching power supplybased on Common DC bus, various topology output switching power supply for needle selectionsystem of Flat Knitting Machine based on Common DC bus is designed. The design of the maincircuit of switching power supply,+13V auxiliary output, four-way output hardware design arecompleted, it has the advantages of stable output voltage and high efficiency. (4) Above switching power supply prototype for the Flat Knitting Machine system aremade and test is conducted. The test shows that: voltage accuracy of switching power supply forservo drives of Flat Knitting Machine is more than97%, the output is stable、the ripple voltage islittle, the efficiency is improved. Ripple and noise of switching power supply for needle selectionsystem of Flat Knitting Machine are controlled in2%, the output is stable, the loading ability isstrengthened, and they are used in the Flat Knitting Machine System.
